LS Elections 2014

Its celebration time for every Indian citizen. Not even a cricket match or a comedy film provides entertainment as much as elections and politicians do.Already one phase of polling is over and 8 more to go. The candidates are doing their best by making a mockery of others,giving hate speeches,raising communal tensions etc etc.This is usual.The nation has witnessed much of this in the past.Now a new breed of comedians have emerged in Indian politics - haan AAPka javaab bilkul teek hein :D (your answer is perfect) - Aam Aadmi Party.They follow a different approach in Indian politics.All the political parties mock AAP to the core and you know what,AAP replies them in style by again mocking themselves. Anyway this is not an article against AAP or Aravind Kejriwal.

I have been writing about the Congress party here since 2010. To be honest I have been opposing Congress since my school days.Some good PMs from Congress party means - Mr.Lal Bahadur Shastri and Mr.P V Narasimha Rao(good administrator).I could not remember anyone else.Right from Nehru everyone upto Dr.Manmohan Singh has proved to be worse than their predecessors with Mr.Shastri and Rao being the exception.If we consider the opinion polls conducted by TV channels,newspapers it appears as if the Congress has already lost the elections.Even in 2009,the surveys said congress will lose badly and the media gave life to an imagination called 'third front'.But to everyone's surprise,even to the surprise of Congress party,they won 206 seats on its own and UPA(United Progressive Alliance) easily formed the government. The reason for mentioning this is,one cannot trust these surveys.As veteran journalist Cho.Ramasamy says, these surveys are like astrology,sometimes it may come true and sometimes it may not.

This election is all about one man - Narendra Modi.I am not here to write Modi's biography that how a tea vendor went on to become a PM candidate of a prominent political party.But if you ask me how he has grown up as such a formidable force in Indian politics,its all because of the pseudosecular attitude of other parties.Whatever Modi does,they wanted to demonize him which actually has boomeranged. During the 2007 elections, Mrs.Sonia Gandhi called Modi as 'merchant of deaths'.But now that Supreme court appointed Special Investigation Team(SIT) has given him a clean chit.He was interrogated for around 12 hours by Mr.Raghavan,the head of the SIT.I haven't seen anyother sitting CM being interrogated like this. After proper investigation only,the SIT gave a clean chit to Modi.There are brilliant people who say he was not given clean chit as Amicus Curiae Raju Ramachandran opposed the judgement.Amicus Curiae is just a friend of the court,not above the court.This Raju Ramachandran appeared for Mrs.Zakia Jafri wife of Ehsan Jafri, an ex Parliamentarian who was hacked and burnt to death during the 2002 Gujarat riots.So any lawyer will support his client only till the last moment and that is what Amicus Curiae did..Intelligent people like Karan Thapar may consider Amicus Curiae above Supreme Court.

The 1984 Sikh riots case is still pending.People Kamal Nath,Jagdish Tytler,Sajjan Kumar,Sonia Gandhi are all roaming free.Funny part is Sonia ji's refusal to submit her passport to US.

“For several months, Sonia, through her attorney, mislead the court and mounted a defamatory campaign against the plaintiffs for filing a frivolous case against her, claiming that she was not even present in the United States. But now when the Court ordered to provide evidence of her absence, Sonia Gandhi backtracked and conceded her presence in the US.

This is a classic case of how the government haS thwarted attempts of 1984 victims to seek justice,” said attorney Pannu.

If Muslims secular,does that mean Hindus are communal?Who is communal?It is the congress party which killed and tortured more than 3000 Sikhs to avenge the death of Mrs.Indira Gandhi.Sonia Gandhi's husband, who brought the Muslim women protection act in 1984,overruling the court judgement for the sake of muslims is communal.He was the one who communalized the disputed land in Ayodhya by allowing shilanyas or a ground-breaking ceremony in an undispute site close the mosque.He is communal.Your son who has no knowledge about this country said your party will give 6-8% reservation to Muslims in UP if voted to power.He is communal.You have no moral right to call others communal.

The UPA-1 and UPA-2 has made a mockery of all the govt institutions in the past 10 years. They appointed Navin Chawla as the Chief Election Commissioner who according to Shah Commission is "unfit to hold any public office which demands an attitude of fair play and consideration for others". No wonder Chidambaram won in a controversial manner.Whenever there is a call for confidence vote, CBI will investigate corruption cases against Mulayam Singh Yadav and Mayawati.After the situation is alright, the investigation will vanish.A dumb Prime Minister who headed the govt with nothing other than scams like 2G,CWG,SG,Coal scam,Adarsh scam etc etc.The unemployment has gone up,the prices of essential commodities increased vastly.You people have compromised on the nation's security.The Pakistani morons entered the Indian border,chopped our soldier's head and went back.Instead of teaching a strong lesson to Pakistan,your party is appealing for peace.Without any shame your Salman Khurshid calls Modi an impotent administrator.Hope something good happens and UPA loses by a big margin this time.

There is another political party which thinks it is the face of change.For me that party appears as an evil force.Yes its about Aam Aadmi Pary only.There are 2 kind of people who hates this AAP to the core. One, some sensible people who thought this new party will bring some positive change in this country and supported them.Two,people who opposed Kejriwal since the days of team Anna's lokpal comedies.The first group mocks and criticizes the AAP as they feel cheated.The second group mocks them to prove that they were right since the inception of the comedy 'anna movement'.When I mocked Anna Hazare and Aravind Kejriwal,I was criticized severely as I was known for my pro-BJP stand.But most of them stopped criticizing me now.

People it is understandable that we are desperately expecting a messiah in Indian politics. We are expecting a change.But understand my dear friends change will not happen overnight.Before going behind someone, think for a while.I said team Anna's way of threatening the govt to pass a lokpal bill by undergoing fast itself is undemocratic and their version of janlokpal itself did not have proper clauses.There is a prevention of corruption act in place.This act is far better than the one suggested by team Anna.Before seeking a new bill, think why not many are punished under the prevention of corruption act.The problem is not with law, its with our rulers whom we elect.This group said they had no political intentions.We should appreciate Mr.Anna Hazare for honestly staying away from politics as all he needs is publicity and media attention.Other prominent personalities of team Anna were then - Mr.Kejriwal and Mrs.Kiran Bedi IPS.Both wanted to get the much needed media importance.Kejriwal,part of team Anna which said they have no political ambitions, started a political party.As usual some of our tv channels,which were desperately looking for a proxy for congress party started celebrating Kejriwal.No, I didn't mean NDTV :D :D. A jealous Kiran Bedi joined BJP finally and it seems she is expecting the CM seat for Delhi.Hope BJP doesn't do such blunders.

After winning 28 seats in Delhi,Kejriwal said he doesnt need power and he is happy to sit in opposition. He said he will not take support from Congress/BJP and ready to face elections.But he made an U-turn by forming the govt with the support of Congress which he branded 'corrupt'.Before coming to power he said he has a 370 page evidence against the former Delhi CM Mrs.Sheila Dikshit and he will send her to jail. But what has happened was something different.After coming to power he asked evidence to arrest Mrs.Sheila Dikshit.One more infor, Sheila Dikshit is now the governor of Kerala.You can watch the U-turn of Mr.Kejriwal below :

He made a mockery of democracy by going on dharna against Delhi police.He demanded their removal and finally settled for some days leave for those policemen.He defended his minister Somnath Bharti who insulted the Ugandan nationals in a shameful manner.

After four African women were allegedly accosted by Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti and his supporters in the middle of the night on allegations of prostitution and drug trafficking, it was reported that the women were forced to urinate in public in the name of a drug test.

He promised for electricity at low cost and ended up hiking the prices.He promised to conduct a janta darbar(meeting people to get their feedback and know their opinions on various issues).After a drama he scrapped this Janta darbar plans.He was finding ways to escape.He thought the congress party will withdraw the support.Congress is a political party which is there since the British rule in India.They know when to pull down a govt and when not to.Had Kejriwal been smart,he could have given a brilliant govt which might have lasted for 6 months.But like a mindless person,he resigned.So an election was conducted to have a govt for just 49 days.Just see why he resigned.

Delhi Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal has resigned from his post after the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday managed to stonewall his Jan Lokpal Bill by voting against its tabling in the state assembly. However, the fact that his government decided to move it and the Speaker allowed it to do so despite the Delhi Lt. Governor’s specific directions that doing so would be unconstitutional shows that his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has no respect for established rules and procedures. For a political outfit that promises to offer a new template of political governance and plans to extend its horizon nationwide, this can be a dangerous affliction.

So it is clear that the Aam Aadmi Party is more dangerous than even the Congress.Even before establishing themselves in politics,they are making a mockery of democracy.This mindless Kejriwal went to Gujarat to check if Modi has really brought any development.The Aam Aadmi Party which said their main agenda was to eradicate corruption,made yet another U-turn by saying 'Communalism is bigger threat than corruption'.Which means BJP is communal and Congress is corrupt.So there is nothing wrong in supporting corrupt.Why Mr.Kejriwal didn't come to Tamil Nadu to check if there is any development or not?He cannot say Jayalalithaa is not a PM candidate.The TN CM's Prime Ministerial ambitions are well known.Kejriwal spared Bihar,though the CM of Bihar considers only he is the best PM candidate(ofcourse only he thinks like that).When so many states are there why should he go to Gujarat?When the police asked him to show the permission to conduct road show,he lied blatantly as if the police was targeting him and the news spread that Kejriwal was arrested.Barbaric AAPtards pelted stones on BJP office and there were lot of clashes because of them in UP and Delhi.The moment election dates are announced,the model code of conduct comes into effect and one is expected to follow the rules of Election Commission(EC).Once Advani addressing a meeting.When he was speaking the poll dates were announced by EC and he refused to use helicopter as it violates the model code of conduct.This is the reason for calling Advani a statesman and Kejriwal a wasteman.

Within some hours Kejriwal researched whole Gujarat and said there is no development.After the Tata Nano decided to shift its factory from West Bengal,Modi made the much needed arrangements for starting the factory in Gujarat in a very short time.Even the Tatas could not believe this.Lot of surveys claims there is no development/industries in Gujarat.Well without any development/investment,why will the central govt seek the details about companies that signed MoU for 1000 crore as part of vibrant of Gujarat?

The Income Tax department on Tuesday sought details from the state government about companies that signed MoUs for projects worth Rs 1,000 crore and more during this year's Vibrant Gujarat campaign.

The policy of congress is simple - neither they will do any good to the society nor they will allow others to do.Even in villages there is broadband connectivity in Gujarat.Some of the north Indian states became dark for 2 days due to power failure.Narendra Modi confidently said he is ready to offer the surplus electricity from Gujarat to overcome the crisis provided the central govt offers LPG at subsidised rate in Gujarat.How many Chief Ministers confidently say they have surplus electricity and ready to share it to overcome the crisis.The Hindu and other magazines carry a propaganda to malign Modi.During the 2012 elections The Hindu carried lot of editorials alleging that there is no development in Gujarat,there is development only in urban areas,Modi has not taken care of villages,not easy for Modi to win etc etc. No govt can provide 100% satisfaction to their citizens.There will be some people against any govt.Such newspapers publish only the opinions of these unsatisfied people.The Gujarat govt was able to satisfy most of the people and that is why Modi could become CM for 3 consecutive times and that too with thumping majority.Winning elections is not a big deal,but see the circumstances under which Modi won - Congress used all its might to malign Modi's image,the one time BJP strong man of Gujarat,Mr.Keshubhai Patel formed a new party and contested in elections.Our media was expecting him to split the anti-Congress votes and Patel community votes.Nothing happened.Against all odds - Modi won,democracy won. Yogendra Yadva,an AAP leader termed Modi's victory as 'dark day in democracy'.No wonder the AAP is making a mockery of democracy.

Kejriwal initially said 800 farmers committed suicide in Gujarat.Later on he increased the number to 5000+. If you ask him now,he may say 50 crore farmers died in Gujarat.The Kejriwalism didn't stop there.He went to Modi's house without a permission to meet him.When Modi didn't meet him he said Modi is scared of debating with him.Any sane person will request for an appointment to meet a sitting Chief Minister.Chetan Bhagat's following tweet is a tight slap for this publicity seeking AAPian.

As this is election time,a lot needs to be updated in this space.As I mentioned above, the opinion polls,surveys,exit polls etc may or may not come true.Let us hope something good happens and Modi comes to power.

Election Time

The election commission of India has announced the poll schedule for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The elections will be held in 9 phases starting from April 7 to May 12th and the results will be announced on May 16th.

This blog update is not a propaganda for any party.Voting is our duty.This pic is doing rounds in facebook. Bad politicians are not born,they are created by good people who go to picnic on the day of elections.This blog post is just a reminder.People make it sure that you all make use of your right to vote.If you fail to cast your vote,someone else will do it on behalf of you.

There are some educated intellectuals who say,this is the only day I get an official leave,I dont want to stand in the hot sun and waste this day too.I wish to spend this day happily with my family.Gentlemen,I have a suggestion for you.Apply for one day leave to spend with your family and make your plans.If not,tell a lie in your office and take a sick leave and spend time happily with your family.Well,if you say you are an honest person and you do not wish to waste one working day for your family,still I have a suggestion for you. Stand in queue,it wont take more than an hour,cast your vote and spend time with your family.Actually you have 23 more hours of free time.

Another important aspect of elections is - 'cash for vote'.This is a common slogan - 'get money and vote for the party you wish'.All parties may give money.So collectively it will make up a good sum.One can make use of that money for time being.If you think this is a gain,you are wrong.You are just being part of corruption. When you are accepting money,you lose all moral rights to question the wrong doings of the government.No politician will respect the public.This will be his thought - 'people didn't vote me just like that..after all they got money and elected me..whatever mistake I do,I will win again by bribing the people'.There are lot of talks about revolutions,change,etc etc.But revolution does not necessarily mean just sitting on roads and causing public disturbance.Change will not come overnight.Instead of sleeping on streets and throwing stones at someone,we should change our attitude.

When someone offers money/freebies and asks us to vote for their party,we should refuse that politely. When everyone starts refusing money,that will definitely bring some change in politics.Lot of good people are not willing to enter politics fearing the money factor.When we start refusing money and freebies consistently,that will send a message to the politicians. Politicians will understand that the common man of this nation gives more importance to his self respect and doesnt want to make money by hook or crook. That message will give a mild scare to the corrupt and cruel politicians. And,this mild scare will be the beginning of the change which some elite section of the society is dreaming of - 'corruption free India'.

Well there will be a NOTA option in EVM(Electronic Voting Machine) which means None Of The Above. There is a false propaganda going on that if NOTA gets majority of the votes,there will be a re-election in that constituency.This is complete non-sense.As per Indian electoral system,in a constituency with say some 1000 people,NOTA gets 999 votes and some X candidate gets 1 vote,he will be declared the winner.Already naxalites and maoists are preaching(threatening) people to vote for NOTA.

The reason for introducing this NOTA is not to conduct re-elections,but to avoid illegal voting.There are some people who say they dont have any faith in democracy and such people avoid coming to poll booths. Conveniently our politicians will appoint morons and goondas to cast the votes of these people in their favor. This all has happened in the past and it will continue to happen as long as people refuse to come to poll booth.To avoid this,the NOTA system has been introduced.NOTA cannot do anything else.Those who ask for re-elections based on NOTA should grow up.If the election commission conducts re-election,and if the same candidates contest in the elections,what will be NOTAists answer?Again they will vote for NOTA and again there will be re-elections.This will be a never ending process.Asking for a re-election is wasting the tax payer's money.Instead of simply blaming the system and demotivating everyone around you,one can better take up the task of cleansing the system.Plan properly,enter politics,work hard and win elections,serve for this nation.When I mean cleansing the system,I actually mean it.It should not be like a showoff.It will take considerable amount of time for changing the system.Keep it in mind and dont run away in 49 days.Never mind,if you are not ready to accept all these lectures,its fine.Every individual has his own principles, but this will not apply to people who refrain from voting.

My suggestion - choose the best option among the available ones.Hail democracy!!!

படித்ததில் பிடித்தது - கறுப்புக் குதிரை

இதன் ஆசிரியர் திரு.சுஜாதா அவர்கள்.இந்தப் பகுதியில் இதற்கு முன் அவரது 'ஸ்ரீரங்கத்து தேவதைகள்' பற்றி எழுதியிருந்தேன்.இது இங்கே சுஜாதா புத்தகத்தைப் பற்றிய இரண்டாவது பதிவு.'கறுப்புக் குதிரை' - இதுவும் சிறுகதைகளின் தொகுப்புத் தான்.இதனை 'மீண்டும் தூண்டில் கதைகள்' என்ற தலைப்பில் 'ஆனந்த விகடன்' பத்திரிக்கையில் எழுதினார். இவரது இந்த படைப்பைப் பற்றிய பதிவு தான் இது.

இதில் 12 கதைகள் உள்ளன.அதில் என்னை மிகவும் பாதித்த கதை என்றால், 'ஒரு சிபிஐ அதிகாரியின் நினைவலைகள்', 'ஆயிரத்தோராவது பொய்','கார்ப்பெட்டில் ரத்தம்..முகத்தில் புன்னகை'.மற்ற கதைகளும் சுவாரசியமானவையே என்றாலும் இந்த மூன்று கதைகள் படித்த பின்பு பல நாட்கள் இவற்றைப் பற்றிய சிந்தனையே என் மனதில் இருந்தது.

கறுப்புக் குதிரை

இது ஒரு சுவாரஸ்யமான கதை. நகைச்சுவையாகவே இருக்கும் ஆனால் இதில் வரும் நகைச்சுவை நிஜமாகிப் போனது ஆச்சரியம் தான்.தமிழகத்திலிருந்து சர்வதேச போட்டிகளுக்கு நடுவராகும்(umpire) ஒருவர் தான் இந்தக் கதையின் நாயகன். இவர் மனைவிக்கோ கிரிக்கெட் என்றாலே பிடிக்காது. அதுவும் கல்யாண தினத்திலிருந்து தான்.'முதலிரவின் போது நடுவே நிறுத்திவிட்டு ஆஸ்திரேலியா வெஸ்ட் இண்டீஸ் மாட்சைப் பார்த்து விட்டு வந்தது தப்பு தான்' - சுஜாதா குறும்பு என்பதற்கு சிறந்த உதாரணம் இந்த வரி தான். இந்தக் கதைகள் 95 ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளிவந்தன.இந்தக் கதையில் வரும் கிரிக்கெட் கிச்சா(கே.சுவாமி) என்ற நடுவர் கதாபாத்திரம் நடுவர் வெங்கட்ராகவனை மனதில் வைத்து அமைக்க்பட்டதோ என்று தோன்றுகிறது.

ஆடம்பர வாழ்க்கையை விரும்பும் மனைவி,கிரிக்கெட்டை காதலிக்கும் நேர்மையான நடுவராக நம் கதையின் நாயகன்.இந்நிலையில் புகழ்பெற்ற பன்னாட்டு குளிர்பான நிறுவனம் ஒன்று பல உலக நாடுகள் பங்குபெறும் ஒரு கிரிக்கெட் தொடர் நடத்துகிறது. அதில் நடுவராக பங்கேற்கும் வாய்ப்பு நமது கே.சுவாமிக்கு கிடைக்கிறது.ஜெர்மனி நாடும் அதில் முதன்முறையாக பங்கேற்கிறது.ஜெர்மனி பல நாடுகளையும் வீழ்த்தி அரையிறுதிக்குள் நுழைந்து வெஸ்ட் இண்டீஸ் அணியுடன் மோதவிருக்கும் நிலையில் ஒரு புக்கி நமது நடுவரை அணுகுகிறான்.

ஜெர்மனி அணியில் இரண்டு வீரர்களே திறமையானவர்கள்,அவர்களில் ஒருவருக்கு தவறான தீர்ப்பின் மூலம் அவுட் கொடுத்து விட்டால் போதும்,வெஸ்ட் இண்டீஸ் வென்று விடும் என்றும்,தான் வெஸ்ட் இண்டீஸ் மீது பெரும் பணம் கட்டியிருப்பதாகவும் சொல்கிறான்.சுவாமிக்கும் பெரும்பங்கு அளிப்பதாகக் கூறுகிறான்.ஆனால் சுவாமி இதை ஏற்க மறுக்கிறார். கிரிக்கெட் தனக்குக் கடவுள் போல என்று கூறி, வந்தவனை அனுப்பிவிடுகிறார்.ஆனால், அவர் எதிர்பார்த்தபடி ஜெர்மனி தோற்கிறது, வெஸ்ட் இண்டீஸ் வென்று விடுகிறது.கதையின் இறுதியில் தான் ஜெர்மனி அணியின் முக்கிய வீரரான க்ரயூபை விலைக்கு வாங்கிய விபரம் தெரிய வருகிறது.இந்தக் கதையை படிக்கும் போது தான் ஸ்ரீசாந்த்,சண்டிலா போன்றவர்கள் சூதாட்ட புகாரில் கைதானார்கள்.சுஜாதா ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசி.

எல்லாமே இப்பொழுதே :

இது ஒரு விதமான காதல் கதை.பணம்,சொத்து மற்றும் அன்பு இவற்றுக்கு நடுவே தான் கதை செல்கிறது.கதையின் நாயகி நிருபமா.செல்வா என்கிற இளைஞனுடன் நட்பு ஏற்படுகிறது.ஆண் பெண் உறவு நட்பில் தொடங்கி காதலில் முடிவது தானே காதல் கதைகளில் வழக்கம்.காதல் மட்டுமே இருந்தால் ஏது சுவாரஸ்யம்?அதனால் ஒரு சிக்கல் ஏற்படுகிறது. செல்வாவின் முதலாளி பிரேம்சாகர் மாபெரும் பணக்காரன்.  நினைத்ததை ஒரு நொடியில் சாதிக்கும் பணபலமும் அதிகாரமும் கொண்டவன்.நிருபமாவைக் கண்டதும் பிடித்துப் போய்விடுகிறது.செல்வா மீது கொண்ட காதலால் நிருபமா ப்ரேம்சாகரின் காதலை ஏற்க மறுக்கிறாள். பிரேம்சாகர் செல்வாவை அழைத்துப் பேசுகிறான்.பிறகு செல்வா நிருபமாவை சம்மதிக்க வைக்கிறான்.இதற்கு பிறகு வரும் சம்பவங்களே இந்தக் கதைக்கு சுவாரஸ்யமூட்டுகிறது. பணத்திற்கு ஆசைப்பட்டு காதலனை கை விட்டாளா நிருபமா? அல்லது செல்வா விலை போய் விட்டானா? ஒரு வேளை பிரேம்சாகர் செல்வாவை விலைக்கு வாங்கி விட்டானென்றெ வைத்துக் கொண்டாலும்,என்ன விலை கொடுத்திருப்பான்? இந்த கேள்விகளின் பதிலே இந்தக் கதையின் முடிவு.

இது ஒரு 'adults only' வகைக் கதை.கதை நடக்கும் காலக்கட்டம் கி.பி.2887.மகேன் என்பவன் தான் இந்தக் கதையின் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரம்.கதை நடக்கும் காலக்கட்டத்தில் விபச்சாரம் முழுதாக தடை செய்யப்பட்டு விட்டது.தகாத உறவில் ஈடுபடுபவர்களுக்குக் கடும் தண்டனை வழங்கப்படும்.இருந்தும் வாலிப வயது இது போன்ற வீர விளையாட்டுகளில் ஈடுபட தூண்டுகிறது.மகேனின் நண்பன் ராகுல் என்பவன் ஒரு மகேனை ஒரு விலாசத்திற்கு அனுப்புகிறான்.விலாசத்தை நேரடியாக கண்டறிய முடியாது.கடும் சிரமத்திற்குப் பிறகு சம்மந்தப்பட்ட பார்ட்டியை கண்டுகொள்கிறான்.சம்பிரதாய உரையாடல்களுக்குப் பின் கூடல் தொடங்குகிறது. இருவரும் உல்லாசமாக இருக்கிறார்கள்.திடீரென எழுந்த மகேன் 'பணம் கொடுக்க வேண்டாமா?நான் புறப்பட வேண்டும்' என்று கூறுகிறான்.தேவயானியோ(பார்ட்டி) 'பணமா முக்கியம்? இன்பம் தானே முக்கியம்' என்று கூற,மகேன் சற்று  கோபமாக  'இங்கே யாரும் இலவசக்காட்சிக்கு வரவில்லை. பணம் கொடுக்க போகிறாயா இல்லையா?' என்று கேட்கும் பொழுது தான் இதில் விபச்சாரம் செய்வது பெண் அல்ல ஆண் என்று புரிகிறது.

ஒரு சி.பி.ஐ அதிகாரியின் நினைவலைகள் :

'Mistrust the obvious' என்ற வாக்கியத்துடன் தொடங்குகிறது இந்தக் கதை.ராமபத்திரன் ஒரு CBI அதிகாரி.இவருக்குத் திருமணம் தள்ளிக்கொண்டே போயிற்று.ஆபத்தான உத்தியோகம் என்பதால் எளிதில் பெண் கொடுக்க எவரும் முன்வரவில்லை. இவரும் அத்தனை ஆர்வமாக அதற்கு முயற்சி செய்யவில்லை. இந்நிலையில் இவருடைய உறவுக்காரப் பெண் வர்ஷா சென்னை மாலைக் கல்லூரியில் சேர்ந்திருப்பதாகவும் அவளை பார்த்து வருமாறும் ராமபத்ரனின் தாயார் கூற நமது நாயகன் வர்ஷாவை சந்திக்கிறான்.வர்ஷா துறுதுறு குணம் கொண்ட ஒரு இளம்பெண்.இருவரும் சென்னையில் சில இடங்களைச் சுற்றி பார்க்கிறார்கள்.ராமபத்திரன் வர்ஷாவை நேசிக்கத் தொடங்கிவிடுகிறான். "நாம ரெண்டு பெரும் உறவு இல்லையா?" என வர்ஷா கேட்க,உற்சாகமாக "ஒ எஸ்" - என்கிற ஒரு வசனமே போதும்,ராமபத்ரனின் மனதை புரிந்து கொள்ள. இப்படிச் செல்லும் கதையில் ஒரு CBI விசாரணை.அகர்சந்த் என்பவன் மீது அந்நிய செலவாணி மோசடி செய்வதாக புகார் எழுகிறது.

ராம் ரெயிடு செய்வதைப் பார்க்க விரும்பிய வர்ஷாவை,உடன் அழைத்துச் செல்கிறான் ராம்.அப்போது அகர்சந்த் ஒரு சிட்னி ஷெல்டன் புத்தகத்தை வர்ஷாவுக்கு அன்பளிப்பாகக் கொடுக்கிறான்.மீண்டும் அவனை ரெயிடு செய்யும்போது ஒரு புத்தகத்தை வர்ஷா பிறந்தநாள் பரிசாக கொடுக்க எடுத்துச் செல்கிறான்.அந்த இரண்டும் ஒரே புத்தகத்தின் வெவ்வேறு பிரதிகள் என்பதை உணரந்ததும் அகர்ச்சந்தின் மோசடியை கண்டுபிடித்து விடுகிறான் ராமபத்ரன்.இதற்கிடையில் வர்ஷா பிறந்த நாள் என்பதால் அந்த ஹோட்டலில் வாசித்துக் கொண்டிருந்த வாத்திய கோஷ்டியை 'ஹாப்பி பர்த்டே வர்ஷா' பாட வைக்கிறான். வர்ஷா நெகிழ்ந்து போகிறாள். இந்த நேரத்தில் தான் ஒரு புதுமுகம் கதையில் அறிமுகாகிறது. "சாரி! எம் ஐ லேட்?" - என்று நுழைகிறான்.ராம் சற்று குழப்பமடைய,வர்ஷா, அவன் பெயர் ஷேக்கர் சீனிவாஸ் என்றும்,அவனை அவள் திருமணம் செய்துகொள்ள விரும்புவதாகவும் கூறுகிறாள். ராம் ஏமாற்றமடைகிறான்.

"நீ இவரைக் கல்யாணம் பண்ணிக்க ஒரு ப்ரோபோசல் இருந்ததா சொன்னியே?"

வர்ஷா,"அம்மா அப்பாவும் சொன்னா,வயசு வித்தியாசம் ஜாஸ்தின்னு..பதினொரு வருஷம்"

"பத்து வருஷம் என்றேன் ஹீனமாக" - ராம்.

"சரி ராம் அங்கிள்! நாளைக்குப் பார்க்கலாமா?" என்றாள். பாரில் இருந்த கண்ணாடியில் தெரிந்தேன்,வழுக்கையின் ஆரம்பங்கள் தலையில்.ஒரு பெண்ணின் வெளிப்படையான வெகுளித்தனத்தை காதல் என்று நினைத்து ஏமாந்து போவது தான் கதையின் 'one liner'.இதைத் தான் ஆரம்பத்திலேயே 'Mistrust the obvious' என்று சொல்கிறார்.

எய்தவன் :

இது ஒரு சமூக பொறுப்புள்ள வக்கீலுக்கும் தவறான,ஊழல் மிகுந்த,ஒரு அரசியல்வாதிக்கும் இடையில் நடக்கும் கதை. சுந்தரலிங்கம் என்பவர் ஒரு நேர்மையான வக்கீல்,அவர் மணிமோகன் என்கிற மந்திரிக்கெதிராக வழக்கு தொடர்கிறார். அடியாள் மூலம் பலமாக தாக்கப்படுகிறார்.உடனடியாக விசாரணைக்கு உத்தரவிடப் படுகிறது.சுந்தரலிங்கம் குணமாகி வீடு திரும்புகிறார்.ஆனால் பலமாக தாக்கப்பட்டதால் அவர் ஒரு கண்ணை இழக்க நேரிடுகிறது.இந்த விசாரணை மீதெல்லாம் அவருக்கு நம்பிக்கை இல்லை.ஆனால் தன்னைத் தாக்கியவனை அடையாளம் கண்டு கொள்கிறார். ஆனால் போலீசில் அடையாளம் காட்டாமல் இருந்து விடுகிறார். மாறாக அவனுடன் தனிமையில் பேசி,தன்னை தாக்குவதற்காக அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட பணத்தை விட அதிகம் தருவதாகக் கூறி மணிமோகனையே தீர்த்துக் கட்ட திட்டம் தீட்டுவது போல முடிகிறது இந்தக் கதை.

ஆயிரத்தோராவது பொய் :

அழகான தோற்றமில்லாத பெண் ஒருத்திக்குத் திருமணம் தள்ளிக்கொண்டே போகிறது.எந்த வரனும் அமையாததால் விரக்தியில் பத்மாவதி திருமணம் செய்து கொள்ளும் எண்ணத்தையே விட்டுவிடுகிறாள்.அந்த நேரத்தில் தான் ஒரு பையன் இவளைப் பெண் பார்க்க வருகிறான்.பத்மாவோ வந்தவனை வா என்று கூட சொல்லாமல் அனுப்பி விடுகிறாள்.ஆனால் வந்தவனோ வீட்டு வேலைக்காரியுடன் நிறைய பேசிவிட்டுச் செல்கிறான்.இந்த வரனும் தவறிவிட்டதே என பத்மாவின் பெற்றோர் வருந்தும் வேளையில் தான் வந்தவன் பத்மாவைத் திருமணம் செய்துகொள்ள சம்மதம் தெரிவித்து விட்டான் என்கிற தகவல் வருகிறது.அனைவருக்கும் ஆச்சரியம், இறைவன் இந்தக் கல்யாணத்தை நடத்த நிச்சயித்து விட்டான் என்று தோன்றுகிறது.

ஆனால் வந்தவன் பெண்ணைப் பார்க்காமல் வேலைக்காரியைப் பார்த்து சம்மதம் சொன்னது சற்று நெருடலாகவே இருக்க,ஆயிரம் பொய் சொல்லி ஒரு கல்யாணம் செய்வார்கள்,இது ஆயிரத்தோராவது பொய்யாக இருக்கட்டும் என்று பத்மாவின் மாமா அவள் தந்தைக்கு தைரியம் கொடுக்கிறார்.இறுதியில் தான் தெரிகிறது இந்த உண்மை.வந்தவன் பார்த்தது கல்யாணப் பெண்ணையும் அல்ல,பார்க்க வந்தவனும் மாப்பிள்ளை அல்ல என்று. வந்தவன் மாப்பிள்ளையின் நண்பன் என்று மாப்பிள்ளை சிவராமன் பத்மாவின் தந்தையிடம் கூற,பத்மாவின் தந்தையும் மாமாவும் கை குலுக்கிக் கொண்டார்கள், அதன் காரணம் என்னவோ மாப்பிள்ளைப் பையனுக்கு விளங்கவில்லை.

பெரியவங்க உலகம் :

இது 'extra marital relationship' என்று சொல்லப் படுகிற திருமணமான ஒரு பெண்ணின் தகாத உறவைப் பற்றியும் ஒரு மாணவனின் மன மாற்றத்தையும் சொல்லும் கதை இது. ஒரு நல்ல ஆசிரியரின் மனைவியின் கள்ளக்காதல் விவகாரத்தை மாணிக்கம் என்ற மாணவன் கண்டுபிடித்து விடுகிறான். இதைப் பற்றி ஆசிரியரிடம் அவர் தனிமையில் இருக்கையில் புகார் சொல்கிறான்.அவரோ இது தனக்கு முன்பே தெரியுமென்றும் இதனை ஒரே நாளில் மாற்றிவிட முடியாது என்றும் கூறி அனுப்புகிறார். மாணிக்கத்துக்கோ தமயந்தி என்ற பெண் மீது ஒரு ஆசை.இறுதியில் அந்தப் பெண் தானாக முன் வந்து மாணிக்கத்திடம் அவளின் ஆசையை தெரிவிக்கும் பொது, 'வேண்டாம் தமயந்தி எனக்குப் படிக்கணம்' என்று அவனை அறியாமல் சொல்கிறான். இந்தப் பெரியவங்க உலகத்தை அவனால் புரிந்து கொள்ள முடியாமல் இந்த வயதில் தனக்கு ஏற்பட்டிருக்கும் ஆசையும் தவறு என்று உணர்ந்து மனதை மாற்றிக்கொள்கிறான்.

பை நிறைய பணம் :

இது ஒரு வங்கிக் கொள்ளை மையமாகக் கொண்ட கதை. இதில் சிறப்பம்சம் என்னவென்றால் இறுதியில் பேங்க் மானேஜருக்கும் இன்ஸ்பெக்டருக்கும் இடையில் நடக்கும் உரையாடல் தான்.இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் ஜெயபாரதி கொள்ளையர்களைக் கண்டு பிடித்து விடுகிறார். ஆனால் அதன் விபரங்களை வெளியுலகத்திற்கு தெரிவிப்பதற்கு முன் பேங்க் மானேஜரிடம் தான் கண்டுபிடித்த விபரங்களை மறைத்து விடுவதாகவும் தாங்கள் இருவரும் தலா 50 லட்சம் வரை பணம் பண்ணலாம் என்றும் யோசனை தெரிவிக்கிறார். தெரிவிப்பதற்கு முன் தானும் ஒரு நேர்மையான போலீஸ் அதிகாரி,கோபால்சாமியும் ஒரு நேர்மையான வங்கி அதிகாரி. இது வரை பெரிதாக பணம் பண்ணியதில்லை என்றும் கூறுகிறார். ஆனால் கோபல்சாமியோ '"வேண்டாம்ங்க நம்ம மாதிரி ஒண்ணு ரெண்டு அதிகாரிங்க மிச்சம் இருந்தாதான் இந்தச் சபிக்கப்பட்ட நாட்டுக்கு கொஞ்ச நஞ்சமாவது நம்பிக்கை இருக்குது." - என்று கூறுகிறார்.எத்தனைப் பணத்தைப் பார்த்தாலும் கோபால்சாமியின் நேர்மை குறைந்து விடவில்லை.நேர்மையாளர்கள் எல்லாம் இந்த நாட்டில் 'நாம் என்ன சுகத்தைக் கண்டோம்' என்று நொந்து கொள்ளாமல் நாட்டில் நேர்மையை நிலைநாட்டத் தாங்களாவது இருக்கிறார்களே என்று நினைத்துப் பெருமைப்பட வேண்டும் என்பது போல அமைகிறது இந்த முடிவு.


லூயிஸ் குப்பத்தில் ஒரு புரட்சி :

குப்பத்தில் வாழும் பெண்களின் நிலையை மிக யதார்த்தமாக விளக்கும் கதை இது.தன் வீட்டு வேலைக்காரியின் மகள் திருமணத்தில் கதை தொடங்குகிறது.மாப்பிள்ளையை பார்த்தவுடன் அவன் சரியானவன் அல்ல என்பதை முதலாளியம்மா உணர்கிறாள்.அவள் நினைப்பே சரி என்பதைப் போல தினமும் குடித்து விட்டு மனைவியை துன்புறுத்துகிறான் கார்மேகம். வேலைக்காரியின் மகளையும் தன் மகள் போலவே நினைத்த முதலாளியம்மா அவளை தன் வீட்டிலேயே தங்க வைக்கிறாள்.சட்ட ரீதியான பாதுகாப்பும் கொடுத்து,இந்தப் பெண்ணுக்கு மறுமணம் செய்யும் முயற்சியில் இறங்குகிறாள்.இந்த நேரத்தில் தான் பெண்ணின் கணவன் தான் திருந்தி விட்டதாகவும் மனைவி இல்லாமல் தன்னால் வாழ இயலாது என்றும் மலர்விழியை தன்னுடன் அனுப்பிவிடுமாரும் கெஞ்சி கேட்கிறான். மலர்விழியை அழைத்துச் செல்கிறான்.பிறகு இருவரும் சந்தோஷமாக வாழ்கிறார்கள்.சில நேரங்களில் வந்து முதலாளியம்மாவையும் சந்திக்கிறார்கள்.இத்துடன் இந்தக் கதை முடிந்திருந்தால் புரட்சி மலர்ந்து தான் விட்டதென்று நிம்மதியாக இருந்திருக்கலாம்.ஆனால் யதார்த்தம் அதுவல்லவே.நீண்ட நாட்களுக்குப் பிறகு கணவனும் மனைவியுமாக இந்த முதலாளியம்மாவின் வீட்டிற்கு வருகிறார்கள்.மலர்விழி கர்பமாக இருந்தாள்.கார்மேகம் குடித்து விட்டு மலர்விழியை பின்னாலிருந்து உந்தித் தள்ள அவள் முதலாளியம்மாவின் காலருகில் வந்து விழுந்தாள். இது தான் லூயிஸ் குப்பத்தில் நடந்த புரட்சி.


பொய் :

இதுவும் கூட ஒரு 'adults only' வகைக் கதை என்றே கூறலாம். முடிவு அப்படி.ராஜாராமன் நீண்ட நாட்களாக பணிபுரியும் ஊழியர்.அவருடைய மானஜெரைவிடவும் அனுபவம் ஜாஸ்தி.அசிஸ்டென்ட் மானஜெர் பதவி ராஜராமனுக்குக் கொடுக்க நினைக்கிறார் ரகுநாத்(மானஜெர்).அலுவலகத்தின் அனைத்து விஷயத்திலும் ராஜாராமனுக்கு இருக்கும் அறிவும் அனுபவமும் இந்த புதிய ரகுநாத்தைத் திகைக்க வைத்தது.ஆனால் ஒரு சீருடை விஷயத்தில் இருவருக்கும் மனஸ்தாபம் ஏற்பட்டுவிடுகிறது.புதிய சீருடை ஒன்றை அறிமுகபடுத்தி அதனை அணிந்து வரவேண்டுமென்று உத்தரவு பிறப்பிக்கிறார் ரகுநாத்.ஆனால் 20 ஆண்டுகளாக இல்லாமல் இப்போது என்ன என்று ராஜாராமன் சீருடை அணிய மறுக்கிறார்.இதனால் கோபமடைந்த ரகுநாத் அந்த அசிஸ்டென்ட் மானேஜர் பதவியை கேத்தன் என்ற இளைஞருக்குக் கொடுத்து விடுகிறார்.கேத்தன் ராஜராமனைவிட அனுபவம் குறைந்தவர். அதன் பிறகும் மோதல் போக்கையே ராஜாராமனும் ரகுநாத்தும் கேத்தணும் கடைபிடிக்கிறார்கள். ராஜாராமனை விருப்ப ஓய்வில் செல்ல கட்டாயப்படுத்துகிறார்கள் கேத்தணும் மானேஜரும்.வேறு வழி இல்லாமல் விருப்பமில்லாமல்  விருப்ப ஓய்வில் செல்ல சம்மதிக்கிறார் ராஜாராமன். ராஜாராமன் இவர்களைப் பற்றி பல பொய்கள் சொல்கிறார். கேத்தன் கடும் ஆத்திரம் கொள்கிறான்.இறுதியில் ரகுநாத்துக்கும் கேத்தனுக்கும் 'தாம்பத்ய உறவு' இருப்பதாக வதந்தி பரவுகிறது.

இதையடுத்து முதலாளி தற்காலிகமாக கேத்தனை இடமாற்றம் செய்கிறார்.கேத்தனோ இதை ஏற்க மறுக்கிறான். தான் ராஜினாமா செய்யப் போவதாகக் கூறுகிறான்.ஆனால் எதிர்பாராத விதமாக ரகுநாத் தன் பணியை ராஜினாமா செய்கிறார்.முதலாளி எவ்வளவோ வற்புறுத்தியும் ராஜினாமாவை திரும்பப்பெற மறுக்கிறார் ரகுநாத். முதலாளி கேட்கிறார்,

'ஏன்..ஏன் ஒரு வதந்திக்குப் பயந்துட்டியா?'

அது வதந்தி இல்லை உண்மை என்று எப்படி அவரிடம் சொல்ல முடியும் என்று ரகுநாத் நினைப்பது போல கதை முடிகிறது.

கார்ப்பெட்டில் ரத்தம்...முகத்தில் புன்னகை :

இதுவும் கூட ஒரு 'extra marital relationship'பை மையமாகக் கொண்ட கதை தான்.ஆனால் இது நகைச்சுவையான கதை அல்ல.விறுவிறுப்பான த்ரில்லெர் வகைக் கதை என்று நினைத்துத் தான் படிக்கத் துவங்கினேன்.இந்தக் கதையின் முடிவு என்னை மிகவும் பாதித்து விட்டது.இந்தக் கதை படித்து 6 மாதங்களுக்கு மேல் ஆகின்றன.இன்று வரையிலும் கூட இந்தக் கதையின் பாதிப்பு என் மனதில் இருந்து நீங்கிவிடவில்லை. ஒரு மரணத்தில் கதை துவங்குகிறது.ரவிசேகர் என்கிற பெரும் பணக்காரன் இறந்து கிடக்கிறான்.இவரைக் கொன்றது யார் என்ற ரீதியில் கதை தொடங்குகிறது.இவர் மனைவி ஸ்வேதாவுக்கும் இவருக்கும் சம்பவம் நடப்பதற்கு முந்தைய நாள் இரவு கடும் சண்டை.போலீஸ் விசாரணை தொடங்குகிறது.துப்பாக்கியால் சுடப்பட்டு இறந்திருக்கிறார் ரவிசேகர்.விஷயத்தைக் கேள்விபட்டதும் ஸ்வேதாவைத் தேடி வருகிறான் சுரேஷ்.சுரேஷுக்கும் ஸ்வேதாவுக்கும் தான் தகாத உறவு.

இந்த சம்பவத்தை விசாரிக்க வரும் எஸ்.பி. பழனிவேலு என்பவர் சுரேஷுக்கும் ரவிசேகருக்கும் எந்த அளவு நட்பு என்பதை விசாரிக்கிறார்.ஒரு சமயம் சுரேஷுக்கும் ஸ்வேதாவுக்கும் கள்ளத் தொடர்பா என்றும் கேட்கிறார், இவர்களும் 'ஆம்' என்று உண்மையை ஒத்துக் கொள்கிறார்கள்.விசாரணை இவர்கள் இருவரில் ஒருவர் தான் கொலையாளி என்கிற ரீதியில் கூட சில சமயம் செல்கிறது.இருவரையும் சற்று கேவலமாகவே நடத்துகிறார் எஸ்.பி. பிறகு துப்பாக்கி கிடைத்தவுடன், 'ஜன்னல் வழியாக யாரோ சுட்டுக் கொன்று விட்டு  ஓடி இருக்க வேண்டும்' என்று தெரிகிறது.

தீவிர விசாரணைக்குப் பிறகு தான் அந்த உண்மையை போலீஸ் கண்டுபிடிக்கிறது.அந்த உண்மை என்னவென்றால், ரவிசேகர் தன்னைத் தானே சுட்டுக் கொண்டு இறந்திருக்கிறார். அதாவது இது கொலை அல்ல தற்கொலை. அவர் சமீபத்தில் தொடங்கிய மோட்டார் பைனான்ஸ் கம்பெனியால் பலத்த நஷ்டம் அடைந்திருக்கிறார். கடனை திரும்ப செலுத்த வழி இல்லாமல் இறந்திருக்கிறார் என்று முடிகிறது வழக்கு.ஆனால் ஒரு கேள்வி எழுகிறது. தற்கொலை செய்து கொண்டவர் ஏன் அதை கொலை போல தெரியவைக்க முயற்சி செய்தார் என்பது தான் அந்தக் கேள்வி.இதற்கும் பழநிவே லுவே விளக்கம் தருகிறார். தற்கொலை என்றால் ஒரு வித அவமானம்..அதனால் தான் இது கொலை போலத் தெரிய வேண்டும் என நினைத்திருக்கிறார்.இதற்கு பிறகு ஸ்வேதா ஒரு பதில் சொல்கிறாள்.இந்த மொத்தக் கதையும் அந்த ஒரு வரியில் புரிந்து விடுகிறது.

"இல்லைங்க" என்றால் ஸ்வேதா.அவள் கண்களில் நீர் இயல்பாக வடிந்தது.

"பின்ன எதனாலங்கறீங்க?"

"தற்கொலைன்னா இன்ஷூரன்ஸ் பணம் எனக்கு வராது" என்றாள்.இந்தக் கதை படித்தவுடன் 'ஜீனியஸ் சார் நீங்க' என்று சுஜாதாவைப் பற்றி நினைத்துக் கொண்டேன். 'இறப்பதற்கு முன்பு ஏதோ சொல்ல நினைத்திருக்கிறான். கதவைத் தட்டி இருக்கிறான்','ஐ லவ் யு ஸ்வேதா என்றார்' போன்ற வசனங்கள் கதையின் ஆரம்பத்தில் இடம் பெறுகின்றன.இறுதியில் ஸ்வேதா கூறும் அந்த ஒரு வாக்கியம் ரவிசேகர் அவளை எந்தளவு நேசித்திருக்கிறான் என்பதை உணர்த்துகிறது.தன்னுடைய அன்பை வெளிப்படுத்தத் தெரியாமல் வாழ்ந்திருக்கிறான். ஸ்வேதாவோ அவனைப் புரிந்து கொள்ள முயற்சி கூட செய்யாமல் சுரேஷோடு உறவு வைத்துக் கொண்டாள். வியாபாரத்தில் பலத்த நஷ்டம்,மனைவியின் துரோகம், புரிந்து கொள்ள ஒருவரும் இல்லாதது என அனைத்தும் கவலைகளும் ஒன்று சேர்ந்து ரவிசேகரை மனதளவில் எப்போதோ கொன்று விட்டது.தன உயிர் பிரிவதற்கு முன்பாவது ஸ்வேதா மீது தான் வைத்திருக்கும் அன்பை உணர்த்த வேண்டும் என்கிற ஒரே நோக்கத்திற்காகத் தான் தன் தற்கொலையை கொலை போலத் தெரியவைக்க முயற்சி செய்திருக்கிறான்.இதை உணர்ந்து குற்ற உணர்ச்சி வாட்டியெடுக்க வாய்விட்டு அழுகிறாள் ஸ்வேதா. இந்தக் கதைக்கு மட்டும் ஏன் இத்தனை பெரிய விமர்சனம் என்று இதைப் படிப்பவர்கள் நினைக்கலாம்.இதை இப்படி எழுதினால் மட்டுமே என் மனதில் இருக்கும் பாரம் சற்று குறையும். ஏனென்றால் இந்தக் கதையை பேச்சுவாக்கில் சொன்னால் முழுசாகக் கேட்கும் பொறுமை பலருக்கும் இல்லை.என் போன்றவர்கள் பேசுவதையே கேட்கும் பொறுமை பலருக்கும் இருப்பதில்லை.அதனால் தான் இங்கே என் உணர்ச்சிகளைக் கொட்டித் தீர்த்து விட்டேன்.

நான் மல்லிகாவோட மகன் :

இது சற்று பழக்கப்பட்ட கதை தான்.தனது தாய் மல்லிகாவை  திருமணம் செய்து கொள்ளாமல் ஏமாற்றிய ஒருவனைப் பழி வாங்கும் கதை தான் இது.இந்தக் கதையிலும் கிளைமாக்ஸ் காட்சியே சிறப்பம்சம்.செல்வம் மல்லிகாவின் மகன்.தன் தந்தையான பரந்தாமனைக் கொல்ல சென்னைக்கு வருகிறான்.அவரைக் கூட்டத்தில் சந்தித்துத் தான் தான் மல்லிகாவின் மகன் என்கிற விபரத்தைச் சொல்கிறான். வீட்டிற்கு அழைத்துத் தனிமையில் பேச்சு வார்த்தை நடத்துகிறார் பரந்தாமன்.செல்வம் என்றோ ஒரு நாள் வருவான் என்கிற எதிர்பார்ப்புடன் இருந்தவர் போல பேசுகிறார்.மல்லிகா எப்படி இறந்து போனாள் என்றாள், 'பசி,ஏழ்மை,சிபிலிஸ்' என்கிறான் செல்வம்.முக்கியமாகக் கவனிக்க வேண்டிய வார்த்தை 'சிபிலிஸ்'.சிபிலிஸ் என்பது தகாத உடலுறவினால் ஏற்படக்கூடிய ஒரு வியாதி.

பரந்தாமன் செல்வத்தை சமாதானப் படுத்த எவ்வளவோ முயற்சிக்கிறார்.மல்லிகா ஒரு நடத்தை கெட்டவள் என்றும் பலருடன் தொடர்புடைய வேசி என்றும் கூட சொல்லிப்பார்க்கிறார்.செல்வமோ,மல்லிகா அப்படி ஆனதற்கே பரந்தாமன் காரணம் என்கிறான்.பரந்தாமன் ஏதோ ஒரு முக்கியமான விஷயம் சொல்ல நினைக்கிறார், அதற்குள் செல்வம் தன் கையில் இருந்த கையிற்றால் அவர் கழுத்தை இறுக்குகிறான்.பேச்சு மூச்சில்லாமல் பரந்தாமனின் உடல் கீழே விழுகிறது.வந்த காரியம் முடிந்ததென்று செல்வம் மீண்டும் திருச்சிக்கேச் சென்று விடுகிறான்.

பிறகு ஒரு நாள் பரந்தாமனின் வக்கீலின் ஆட்கள் செல்வத்தைத் தேடி வருகிறார்கள்.அவனுடன் சற்று பேச வேண்டும் என்கிறார்கள்.

"எதுக்கு" என செல்வம் கேட்க,

"பரந்தாமன் தன் அத்தனை சொத்தையும் உங்க பேர்ல எழுதி வெச்சிருக்காரு"

(புதிய தூண்டில் கதைகள் நிறைவு பெறுகிறது).

அனைத்துக் கதைகளிலுமே சுஜாதாவின் இறுதி கட்ட வசனங்கள் 'Top Notch'.

கவிமார்கண்டேயர் வாலி

வாலியைப் பற்றி எழுதுவதே சுகம் தான்.அவர் படைப்புகள் அத்தனை சிறப்பானவை. இதே வலைதளத்தில் வாலி அவர்களைப் பற்றி சில செய்திகளை திரட்டி ஒரு பதிவிட்டிருந்தேன்.இரண்டாண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னால் எழுதிய பதிவு அது. இரண்டாண்டுகளில் அவருக்கு இரங்கல் தெரிவிக்கும் நிலை தோன்றுமென எதிர்பார்க்கவில்லை.


நான் சிலரை விமர்சிக்கும்போது என் நண்பர்கள் என்னை அதட்டுவார்கள்.உன் தகுதிக்கு இவர்களை விமர்சனம் செய்வது சரியில்லை என்று.ஆனால் விமர்சனங்களுக்கு அப்பாற்பட்டவர் என்று ஒருவரும் கிடையாது என்ற கருத்துடையவன் நான்.மூன்றாண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு தான் வாலி அவர்களின் 'நானும்.. இந்த நூற்றாண்டும்..' என்ற புத்தகத்தை படித்தேன்.அதை படித்த பின்பு என் கருத்தை மாற்றிக்கொண்டேன்.வாலி அவர்களை அதற்கு முன்பும் நான் விமர்சித்ததில்லை.புத்தகங்களைப் படிக்கும் ஆர்வம் அப்போது தான் எனக்குள் சற்று துளிர் விட்டிருந்தது. மனதிற்கு பிடித்த 'வாலி' அவர்களின் புத்தகத்தையே முதலில் படித்தேன். மிகச்சுவையான சுய சரிதம் அது.



ஏதோ திரைப்படங்களில் 'முக்காலா முக்காபலா','சின்ன ராசாவே சிற்றெரும்பு என்ன கடிக்குது' போன்ற 'பலானா' பாடல்கள் எழுதும் சாதாரண கவிஞர் அல்ல இவர். 'கொடுத்ததெல்லாம் கொடுத்தார்','தரைமேல் பிறக்க வைத்தான்' என தத்துவப் பாடல் மட்டுமே எழுதும் கவிஞரும் அல்ல.'ஜனனி ஜனனி' என பக்திப் பாடல்கள் மட்டுமே எழுதுபவர் என்றும் சொல்லிவிட முடியாது.அதாவது இவர் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட வகை பாடலாசிரியர் இல்லை இவர் ஒரு சகாப்தம்.

ஒரு சூழ்நிலையைக் கூறி,இது தான் மெட்டு,இதற்குத் தான் பாடல் வரிகள் வேண்டுமென்றால்,நிச்சயம் கிடைக்குமென இசையமைப்பாளர்கள் மெச்சும் கவிஞர் இவர்.ஒரு முறை இயக்குனர் கே பாலச்சந்தர் அவர்கள் படத்தின் ஒரு காட்சியை விளக்கினார்.இது தான் அந்த காட்சி.கதாநாயகனுக்கு இரண்டு மனைவிகள்.இருவரும் கணவனை சொந்தம் கொண்டாடுவது போல பாடல் வரிகள் அமைய வேண்டும்.எவ்வளவோ எழுதியும் இயக்குனருக்கும் திருப்தி இல்லை,வாலிக்கும்  இந்த காட்சியில் ஏதோ ஒன்று குறைவது போன்ற ஒரு உணர்வு. பிறகு வாலி அவர்கள்,ஒரு கொலு விழாவில் இரண்டு நாயகிகளும் சந்தித்துக் கொள்வது போல காட்சி அமைத்தால் சிறப்பாக இருக்கும் என கூற,பாலச்சந்தர் அவர்களும் அவ்வாறே செய்தார்.அந்தப் பாடல் இன்றும் சாகாவரம் பெற்று உயர்ந்து நிற்கின்றது.

"புன்னகை மன்னன் பூவிழி கண்ணன் ருக்மணிக்காக
இந்த பாமா ருக்மணி இருவருமே அவன் ஒருவனுக்காக" - என்ற பாடல் தான் அது.

இதே போல மேஜர் சந்திரகாந்த் என்றொரு திரைப்படம்.அதில் கல்யாண சாப்பாடு போடவா என்றொரு பாடல்.தங்கைக்கு திருமணம் நிச்சயிக்கப்பட்ட சந்தோஷத்தில் அண்ணன் பாடுகிறான். ஆனால் அடுத்த சில காட்சிகளில் அவன் தங்கை இறந்துவிடுவாள். இதற்கு கவிஞர் எப்படி வார்த்தைகளை பயன்படுத்தி இருக்கிறார் என்று பாருங்கள்.

"வீதியெல்லாம் பூப்பந்தல் போடனம்
பச்சை வாழை மரம் தோரணங்கள் ஆடனம்
காரு வைச்சி அழைக்கணம் கச்சேரி விக்கனம்
ஊர் பேசும் பேச்சாய் இருக்கணம்"

இந்த வரிகள் இரண்டு சூழ்நிலைக்கும் பொருந்துவது போல எழுதி விட்டார்.

உயர்ந்த மனிதன் படத்தில் வரும் "அந்த நாள் ஞாபகம் நெஞ்சிலே வந்ததே" என்ற பாடல் ஏழை-பணக்காரன் என்கிற வித்தியாசமில்லாத இரண்டு நண்பர்களுக்கிடையில் நிகழும் உரையாடல் போல அமைந்திருக்கும்.

இயந்திரமயமாகி விட்ட இந்த உலகத்தில் பணம் தான் எல்லாவற்றையும் தீர்மானிக்கின்றது.சக்கரம் என்ற படத்தில் வரும் காசே தான் கடவுளப்பா என்ற பாடல் அத்தனை யதார்த்தம்.

"காசேதான் கடவுளப்பா
அந்த கடவுளுக்கும் இது தெரியுமப்பா
கைக்கு கை மாறும் பணமே
உன்னை கைப்பற்ற நினைக்குது மனமே
நீ தேடும்போது வருவதுண்டோ
விட்டுப் போகும்போது சொல்வதுண்டோ

தாயைத் தவிர தந்தையைத் தவிர
காசால் எதையும் வாங்கிடலாம்
கல்லறை கூட சில்லறை இருந்தால்
வாய் திறந்தே மொழி பேசுமடா
இல்லாதவன் சொல் சபை ஏறாமல்
ஏளனமாகப் போகுமடா

களவுக்கு போகும் பொருளை எடுத்து
வறுமைக்குத் தந்தால் தருமமடா
பூட்டுக்கு மேல பூட்டை போட்டு
பூட்டி வைத்தால் அது கருமமடா "

இந்தப் பாடலை கேட்டுப் பாருங்கள்.உண்மையை பளார் என்று அறைவது போலவே உணர்வீர்கள்.

பாலச்சந்தர்-வாலி கூட்டணியில் உருவான பாடல்கள் எல்லாமே தனித்துவத்தோடு விளங்கும்.

"வெற்றி வேண்டுமா போட்டு பாரடா எதிர்நீச்சல்" - என்று நாகேஷ் நடித்த எதிர்நீச்சல்(1968இல் வெளிவந்தது) படத்தில் எழுதினார். இது போல காட்சிகளின் ஆழத்தையும் கதாபாத்திரங்களின் தன்மையையும் புரிந்து கொண்டு எழுதியதாலேயே வாலி அவர்கள் 45 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு வந்த எதிர்நீச்சலிலும் பாடல் எழுதினார்.இது மீண்டும் ஒருவருக்கு சாத்தியமா என்று தெரியவில்லை.45 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு அதே பெயரில் வந்த திரைப்படத்தில் வாலியின் பாடலுக்கு மிகுந்த முக்கியத்துவம் அளிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது. காட்சிகளுக்கேற்ப வரிகளை எழுதுவதில் தான் வல்லவர் என்பதை 2013இல் வந்த எதிர்நீச்சலிலும் நிரூபித்து விட்டார்.

"நாளை என்றும் நம் கையில் இல்லை
நாம் யாரும் தேவன் கை பொம்மைகளே
என்றால் கூட போராடு நண்பா
என்றைக்கும் தோற்காது உண்மைகளே
உசைன்  போல்ட்டைப் போல் நில்லாமல் ஓடு
கோல்டு தேடி வரும்
உந்தன் வாழ்வும் ஓர் ஒலிம்பிக்கைப் போலே
வேர்வை வெற்றி தரும்"

இதே படத்தில்,கடுமையான மின் பற்றாக்குறை நிலவும் இன்றைய நிலைமையை மிக அழகாக ஒரு காதல் பாட்டில் குறிப்பிட்டு நய்யாண்டி செய்திருக்கிறார்.

"மின்வெட்டு நாளில் இங்கு மின்சாரம் போல வந்தாயே
வா வா என் வெளிச்சப் பூவே வா"

காட்சியின் தன்மை கெடாமல் எத்தனை அழகாக மின்வெட்டு விஷயத்தை நுழைத்து விட்டார்!!.

இறைவனருளால் ஒரே ஒரு முறை இவரை நேரில் காண முடிந்தது.அது ஆண்டுதோறும் சென்னையில் நடைபெறும் புத்தகக் கண்காட்சி கவியரங்கத்தில் தான்.ராமரைப் பற்றிய ஏதோ தலைப்பு.புத்தகக் கண்காட்சியைப் பற்றி முதலில் ஒரு அறிமுகம் கொடுத்தவர் கவியரங்கத் தலைவர் வாலி.

"வாசிக்கும் வழக்கமும் வாசகர் வட்டமும்
நாளுக்கு நாள் நாளுக்கு நாள் அருகி வராது
பெருகி வருகிறது என்பதற்கு கண் கண்ட சாட்சி
புத்தகக் கண்காட்சி
வருகிறது - இது வருடாவருடம்
உண்டோ வந்து நம் நெஞ்சை இது
வருடா வருடம்?"

இப்படி புத்தகக் கண்காட்சியைப் பற்றி சில வரிகள் பேசினாலும், காவிரி பிரச்சனை பற்றியும், டெல்லி கற்பழிப்பு சம்பவத்தைப் பற்றியும் இதில் நுழைத்து விட தவறவில்லை.

"நூல் உணர்வு உள்ளவனுக்கும் பால் உணர்வு
உண்டெனினும் அதிலும் அவன் காப்பான் நெறி
காட்ட மாட்டான் வெறி

இந்தளவு இழிந்த ஆடுகளையும்
அனுப்பினால் தான் இந்த அவலங்களை
நாடு களையும்
பாரதத்தை பெருமையுடன் பார்க்க வைக்கும்
பல நாடுகளையும்"

காவிரி பிரச்சனையை எப்படி குறிப்பிடுகிறார் பாருங்கள் :

"மண்ணுக்கு வராத நீர்
உழவன் கண்ணனுக்கு வருகிறது
வயலை உழாத ஏர்
அவன் வயிற்றை உழுகிறது

உடனே உதவுக என்று உச்சநீதிமன்றம்  உத்தரவிட்டும் கூட
காவேரி நீரின்றி காய்கிறது டெல்டா
கர்நாடகம் ஒரு துர்நாடகம் நடத்தி
அந்தத் தீர்ப்பை ஆக்குகிறது உல்டா!!"

வார்த்தைகளை கவிஞர்கள் தேடிச் செல்வதுண்டு,ஆனால் கவிஞர் வாலி என்றால்,வார்த்தைகள் அவரைத் தேடி வந்து விடும் போல..டெல்டா-உல்டா,கர்நாடகம்-துர்நாடகம் என எதுகை மோனையில் அடிக்கிறாரே.மற்றொரு உதாரணத்தையும் பாருங்கள், இசைஞானி இளையராஜா அவர்களின் திருவாசகம் சிம்பொனி வெளியீட்டு விழாவில் பேசுகையில்,

"அவருடைய ஒவ்வொரு வேர்வைக்கும்,
வெற்றி வேர் வைக்கும்" - என்றார்.


கதாபாத்திரத்தின் தன்மையை புரிந்து எழுதினாலும் கூட கதாநாயகனுக்கு ரசிகர்கள் மத்தியிலிருக்கும் செல்வாக்கையும் மனதில் வைத்து இவர் சில வரிகளை எழுதுவதுண்டு.

"உதயசூரியனின் பார்வையிலே உலகம் விழித்துக் கொண்ட வேளையிலே" - அன்பே வா படத்தில் வரும் புதியவானம் என்ற பாடலில் எழுதியது.எம்.ஜி.ஆர் அவர்களின் திமுக சார்பு நிலையை குறிப்பிட்டு எழுதிய வரி இது.தணிக்கைக் குழுவினர் இந்த வரியை அனுமதிக்கவில்லை,உடனே "புதிய சூரியனின் பார்வையிலே" என மாற்றி விட்டார்.அதுவும் எம்.ஜி.ஆருக்குப் பொருத்தமாகத் தான் இருந்தது.

"ஊருக்கெல்லாம் வெளிச்சம் போடா கொடுத்த பணத்திலே
தாங்கள் வெளிச்சம் போட்டு வாழ்ந்து விட்டார் நகர சபையிலே
மக்கள் நலம் மக்கள் நலம் என்றே சொல்லுவர்
தம் மக்கள் ஒன்றே தான் மனதில் கொள்ளுவார்" - இது 'நேற்று இன்று நாளை' என்ற படத்தில் எம்.ஜி.ஆர் பாடுவது போல அமைந்திருக்கும் பாடல்.மக்களுக்காக அரசியல் செய்யும் தலைவரை நய்யாண்டி செய்யவே இந்த பாடல்.பின்னாளில் அந்தத் தலைவருடன் பல மேடைகளில் தோன்றி அவரை இவர் புகழ்ந்துத் தள்ளியது எல்லாம் தனிக் கதை.

எம்.ஜி.ஆருக்காக இப்படி பல பாடல்கள் எழுதி இருக்கிறார். குண்டடி பட்டு மீண்ட பிறகு 'நான் செத்துப் பொழச்சவன் டா யமன பாத்து சிரிச்சவன் டா" ,'நினைத்தேன் வந்தாய் நூறு வயது'.அவர் அரசியல் நிலையை மனதில் வைத்து 'நான் ஆணையிட்டால் அது நடந்து விட்டால்','வெற்றி மீது வெற்றி வந்து என்னைச் சேரும்' போன்ற பல பாடல்கள் எம்.ஜி.ஆர் என்ற தனி மனிதரை மனதில் வைத்தே எழுதப்பட்டது. கதாபாத்திரத்துக்கும் காட்சிக்கும் கூட பொருந்தும் வகையில் அவை அமைந்திருக்கும்.அது தான் வாலியின் தனிச்சிறப்பு.

இளையராஜாவைப் புகழ்ந்து பல பாடல்கள் எழுதியுள்ளார்.

"ராஜா ராஜாதி ராஜன் இந்த ராஜா" - அக்னி நட்சத்திரம்
"ராஜா கைய வைச்சா அது ராங்கா போனதில்ல" - அபூர்வ சகோதரர்கள்
"புது ராகம் படைப்பதாலே நானும் இறைவனே
இசைக்கென இசைகின்ற ரசிகர்கள் ராஜ்ஜியம்
எனக்கே தான்" - நிழல்கள் படத்தில் வரும் மடை திறந்து பாடல்வரிகள்.
"சின்னத் தாயவள் தந்த ராசாவே" - தளபதி படத்தில் எழுதியது. இளையராஜா அவர்களின் தாயார் பெயர் சின்னத்தாய்.

ரகுமானைப் பற்றி இப்படி இன்னொருவர் கவிபாட முடியாது

'இவன் இயற்றுகிறான் அன்றாடம்
அஞ்சி வேளை தொழுகை
அது போக்கும் இனி புற்றுநோயாளியின்
அழுகை'

ஏ.ஆர்.ரகுமானை மனதில் வைத்து எழுதப்பட்ட வரிகள் தான் இவை,

"நாம் இருவரும் சேரும் சமயம்
நம் கைகளிலே வரும் இமயம்
நாம் தொட்டது எதுவும் அமையும்
இது அன்பால் இணைந்த இதயம்" - எஸ்.ஜே.சூர்யா நடித்த அன்பே ஆருயிரே பட ஆரம்பப்பாடலில் வரும் வரிகள் இவை.



"ராஜலக்ஷ்மி நாயகன் ஸ்ரீனிவாசன் தான்
ஸ்ரீனிவாசன் சேய் இந்த விஷ்ணுதாசன் தான்
நாட்டில் உண்டு ஆயிரம் ராஜராஜர் தான்
ராஜனுக்கு ராஜன் இந்த ரங்கராஜன் தான்"

- இது தசாவதாரத்தில் கமலுக்காக எழுதப்பட்டது. வைஷ்ணவன் ஒருவனைப் பற்றிய பாடல் இது. ராஜலக்ஷ்மி என்பது நடிகர் கமல் அவர்களின் தாயார் பெயர்,ஸ்ரீனிவாசன் என்பது அவர் தந்தையின் பெயர்.அந்த விஷ்ணுதாசன் தான் ரங்கராஜன் நம்பி(கமல்).

"கலைஞர் பெருமானே
அறிவாலயத்தில் காட்சி தரும் பகவானே

கூலிங் கிளாஸ் அணிந்த குறுந்தொகையே " - இப்படி எல்லாம் கலைஞரை புகழ்ந்திருக்கிறார்.

சமீபத்தில் கூட தமிழக முதல்வரை புகழ்ந்து ரங்கநாயகி என்ற கவிதை எழுதினார்.

அவர் கலைஞரைப் பற்றி இன்னும் நிறைய பேசி இருக்கிறார், நான் கலைஞரின் அரசியலை கடுமையாக விமர்சித்து வந்துள்ளேன்,ஆனாலும் வாலியின் வார்த்தைகள் கலைஞரைப் புகழும் போது, இனிமையாகத் தான் இருக்கின்றது.

கடவுள் மறுப்பு மற்றும் பார்ப்பன எதிர்ப்பு கொள்கைகளை கொண்டவர்கள் நாங்கள் என சொல்லிக் கொள்ளும் திராவிடர் கழகம் மற்றும் திராவிட முன்னேற்ற கழகமும் தீவிர முருக பக்தரும் பார்ப்பனருமான இவரிடம் நெருங்கிய நட்புடன் பழகின.

ஒரு முறை திராவிட இயக்கங்களால் இவர் மேலும் விமர்சனங்கள் வைக்கப்பட்டன.திராவிட அரசியலில் வந்த எம்.ஜி.ஆர் படங்களுக்கு பாட்டெழுதுபவரும் நெருங்கிய நண்பருமான வாலி எப்போதும் நெற்றி நிறைய விபூதி இட்டு வருவது தவிர்க்கப்பட வேண்டும் என்று கோரிக்கை வைக்கப்பட்டன.ஒரு கட்டத்தில் பொறுமையிழந்த எம்.ஜி.ஆர், "நீங்க அந்த விபூதியைத் தான் வைக்காம வாங்களேன்" - என்று கூறி விட்டார்.சற்றும் யோசிக்காமல், "அண்ணே நாம நண்பர்களா இருப்போம்,படத்துக்கு பாட்டெழுதலைன்னா கூட பரவாயில்ல" - என்று சொல்லி விட்டார்.இந்த பதிலைக் கேட்டு சற்று அதிர்ந்து போனார் எம்.ஜி.ஆர்.பிறகு 'மனசிலே பட்டதை அப்படியே பேசும் உங்களை நம்பலாம்.உங்க நம்பிக்கைக்கு எந்த இடையூறும் வராது.நீங்க விபூதி வைத்துக் கொண்டே வரலாம்" - என்று கூறி விட்டார் எம்.ஜி.ஆர்.

எம் எஸ் விஸ்வநாதன் முதல் இன்றைய இளம் இசையமைப்பாளர்கள் ஜி வி பிரகாஷ், அனிருத் வரை பணியாற்றி விட்டார்.இவரை எல்லோருக்கும் பிடிக்கும். ஏனென்றால் இவர் எவரையும் தாழ்த்திப் பேசியதில்லை மாறாக வாழ்த்தி மட்டுமே பேசியிருக்கிறார். 'நான் பாட்டெழுத வந்ததில் கண்ணதாசனுக்கும் கவலையில்லை வாலிக்கும் வருத்தமில்லை' என்று வைரமுத்து குறிப்பிட்டார் என்றால் காரணமில்லாமல் இல்லை.

ஒரு மேடையில் வைரமுத்து வாலிக்கு 'மோதிரம்' அணிவித்து புகைப்படம் எடுத்துக் கொண்டார். அப்போதும் வாலியின் நகைச்சுவை உணர்வை பாருங்கள்,

"நாங்க ரெண்டு பெரும் மோதறோம்
மோதறோம்னு எல்லாரும் நினைக்கிறாங்க
ஆனா வைரமுத்துவோ எனக்கு மோதிரமே
கொடுத்துட்டார்"

வசனக் கவிதை எழுதுவதில் வாலியை மிஞ்ச யாருமில்லை. கடைசியாக அவர் கலந்து கொண்ட  'ஸ்ரீமத் அழகிய சிங்கர்' நூல் வெளியீட்டு விழாவில் அவர் கவிதையில் இருந்து ஒரு சில வரிகளை ஒருவர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

"அரங்கநாயகியின் அகமுடையான்
அழுக்காறு அவா வெகுளியற்ற அகமுடையான்
நலிவு வந்து வருத்திய போதும்
இவன் அகமுடையான்"

இங்கே அகமுடையான் என்ற ஒரு சொல்லை எப்படி பயன்படுத்தி இருக்கிறார் என்பதை அவர் சிறப்பாகவே விளக்கினார். நரசிம்மாச்சாரியார் அரங்கநாயகியின் அகமுடையான் - இங்கே அகமுடையான் என்றால் கணவன் என்று பொருள் வருகிறது.இரண்டவாது அகமுடையான் (அழுக்காது அவா வெகுளியற்ற அகமுடையான்) - இங்கே அகமுடையான் என்றால் மனதை குறிப்பிடுகிறார். "நலிவு வந்து வருத்திய போதும் இவன் அகம் உடையான்" - இங்கே மனம் உடைந்து போக மாட்டான் என்று பொருள் வரும்படி எழுதியிருக்கிறார் கவிஞர். இன்னும் இந்த புத்தகத்தை படிக்கவில்லை.விரைவில் வாங்கி படிக்க வேண்டும். இதோ கீழே கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள 'youtube' தளத்தில் அந்த நூல் வெளியீட்டு விழாவின் முழு ஒளிபரப்பையும் பார்க்கலாம்.

ஸ்ரீமத் அழகிய சிங்கராகட்டும் அல்லது  ராமானுஜ காவியமாகட்டும் அதனை பாமரனும் புரிந்து ரசிக்கும் வண்ணமே எழுதியிருக்கிறார்.

இறைமறுப்பாளர்களுடன் நெருங்கிப் பழகிய போதும்,தன் இறைநம்பிக்கையை ஒரு போதும் அவர் கை விட்டதில்லை இவர்களை திருப்தி படுத்த வேண்டுமென பொய் நாத்திகமும் பேசியதில்லை.அதனால் தான் இவர் இறந்து போனாலும் கூட லட்சகணக்கான ரசிகர்களின் மனத்திலும் வார்த்தைகளிலும் வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறார்.

வாலி என்பவர் நான் முன்பே குறிப்பிட்டது போல வெறும் பணத்துக்கு பாட்டெழுதும் சாதாரண புலவர் அல்ல.தன் கவிதைகளாலும் எழுத்துக்களாலும் பல பேர்களின் வாழ்க்கையில் ஒரு தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்தி விட்டார்.என்னுடைய அன்றாட வாழ்க்கையில் வாலியைப் பற்றி தினமும் ஒரு மணி நேரமாவது நினைக்காமல் இருக்க முடியவில்லை.ஒரு முறை சொந்த விஷயமாக திருவல்லிக்கேணிக்கு என் தந்தையுடன் சென்றிருந்தேன். இது சமீபத்தில் நிகழ்ந்த நிகழ்வு தான்.என் மாமாவும் அங்கே வந்திருந்தார்.நான் சிறு வயதில் இங்கு தான் வளர்ந்தேன் என குறிப்பிட்டவர் இங்கே தான் வாலி மற்றும் பல பிரபலங்கள் தங்கியிருந்தனர் என்று தெருப் பெயர்களை குறிப்பிட்டார்.

இது என்ன டா வேலை,எவ்வளவு நாட்கள் தான் இப்படி என்று நினைக்கும்போதெல்லாம், 'வேலை வர வேண்டுமென்றால் வேளை வர வேண்டும்' என்று வாலி எழுதியதே நினைவிற்கு வருகிறது.வாழ்வில் தடைகளைத் தாண்டி சாதிக்கவேண்டுமென்றால் எதிர்நீச்சல் அடிக்கத் தானே வேண்டும். கண்ணதாசனும் பட்டுகோட்டையாரும்  திரையுலகில் பிரபலாமாக இருந்த நாட்களில் பாட்டெழுத வந்தால் வெற்றி பெற முடியாது என பல கவிஞர்களும் பாட்டெழுதும் எண்ணத்தை கைவிட்ட போதிலும், அவ்வாறு நினைக்காமல் நம்பிக்கையோடு போராடிய வாலி வெற்றி பெற்றார். "நான் ஒருவன் மட்டும் கப்பல்களுக்கு நடுவே கட்டுமரத்தோடு கடலில் இறங்கினேன்" - என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறார். எதிர்ப்பு,போட்டி இவற்றைப் பற்றி நினைக்கும் பொழுதெல்லாம் இந்த வாசகம் தான் நினைவிற்கு வருகிறது.இது போல வாலி என் வாழ்வோடு கலந்து விட்டார்.

புகழின் உச்சியிலிருக்கும் போதே சிலர் இறந்து போன சம்பவங்கள் உண்டு.இவர் இறக்கும் வரை,உயிருடன் இருக்கும் வரை,புகழின் உச்சியிலே இருந்தார்.ஆனால் காலன் தன் பாசக்கயிற்றை வீசி, இவ்வுலகில் உன் காலம் முடிந்து விட்டது என கூறி கொண்டு செல்லும் வரை புகழின் உச்சியிலேயே இருந்தவர் வாலி.மருத்துவமனையில் தன் கடைசி அறுவை சிகிச்சைக்கு முன்பு கூட அவர் எப்படி பேசி/எழுதி இருக்கிறார் பாருங்கள் :

"என் சுவாசம் மிக மோசம்
நரசிம்மனே பயப்படுகிறார்
என் உயிரைக் காப்பாற்ற "

நரசிம்மன் என்பது மருத்துவரின் பெயர்.

"ஆசையாய் வளர்த்த தாடி போனால் என்ன
உயிர் நாடி தானே முக்கியம்"

மரணப்படுக்கையில் கூட மனிதர் வார்த்தைஜாலம் காட்டியிருக்கிறார்.இப்படியெல்லாம் இன்னொருவர் தோன்றுவார் என்று எனக்கு தோன்றவில்லை.

இவர் காவியத்தலைவன் என்கிற படத்தில் பாடல் எழுதி இருக்கிறார்.தெருக்கூத்து என்றொரு படத்தில் கூட எழுதி இருக்கிறார்.இன்னும் எத்தனைப் படங்களில் எழுதி இருக்கிறார் என்று தெரியவில்லை,அவை அனைத்தும் இன்னும் வெளியாகாத படங்கள்.மறைந்த ஒரு பாடலாசிரியர் எழுதிய பாடல் வெளியாக இருக்கும் புதுப்படங்களில் இடம்பெற்றிருப்பது வரலாற்றில் இதுவே முதல் முறை என நினைக்கிறேன்.

நானறிந்த ஸ்ரீரங்கத்து தேவதைகள் இரண்டு பேர்.இரண்டு பேருக்கும் ஒரே பேர்.ஆனால் இரண்டு பேருமே வேறு வேறு பேர்களில் எழுத்துத் துறையில் வெவ்வேறு விதமாக சாதித்தவர்கள்.இன்று அந்த இரண்டு பேருமே இறைவனடி சேர்ந்து விட்டார்கள்.அவர்களில் ஒருவர் ரங்கராஜன் என்கிற வாலி,இன்னொருவர் ரங்கராஜன் என்கிற சுஜாதா.

"இந்தியாவிலேயே நானறிந்து ஒரு சினிமா இசையமைப்பாளரின் மறைவுக்கு 'டைம்ஸ் ஆப் இந்தியா' தலையங்கம் எழுதியது ஆர்.டி.பர்மன் அவர்களுக்கு மட்டுமே.

சிலர்  - இருக்கும் போதே
இறந்தவர்களாக இருக்கின்றார்கள்
சிலர் -
இறந்த பிறகும்
இருப்பவர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள்.

நண்பர் பர்மன் இரண்டாவது வகையைச் சேர்ந்தவர்."

- இது வாலி ஆர்.டி.பர்மன் அவர்களைப் பற்றி எழுதிய குறிப்பு. வாலியும் இரண்டாவது வகையைச் சேர்ந்தவரே. இதைச் சொல்வது இந்த வாலி ரசிகன்.

வாலி அவர்கள் மறைவுக்குப் பின் நீண்ட நாட்களாக அவரைப் பற்றி ஒரு பதிவு இங்கே எழுத வேண்டுமென நினைத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தேன்.ஏனோ மனம் ஈடுபடவில்லை. வாலியின் மறைவைப் பற்றி நினைத்தால் ஒரு பெரும் சோகம் எழுத வேண்டுமென்கிற என் வேகத்தை பொசுக்கி விடுகிறது.ஆனால் வாலியின் பிறந்த நாளன்று எப்படியும் இதை எழுதி விடவேண்டுமென்ற தீர்மானத்தோடு தொடங்கினேன்.இப்போது முடித்து விட்டேன்.என் மனதிலிருந்த பெரும் பாரம் இப்போது தான் குறைந்ததாக உணர்கிறேன்.

"இருந்தாலும் மறைந்தாலும் பேர் சொல்ல வேண்டும்
இவர் போல யாரென்று ஊர் சொல்ல வேண்டும்" - வாலி.

She is my friend..

This is not a fiction.Neither going to be a breezy article about a girl in my life.Neither this is about the movie 'Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi'.Without making a conclusion about this article,just read on.

This debate is going on for ages in India, especially in Tamil Nadu.How can a girl and boy be just friends?If a guy shows some care and affection towards a girl,it has to be love - this is how most of the people argue.When the guy and girl disapprove this and say they are just friends,none is ready to believe.The venomous words used by the surrounding people may spoil a good relationship.This mentality is actually a main reason for most of the problems faced by women.

Right from school days,elders start controlling the kids.There are co-education schools which run separate classes for girls and boys.In such schools,if a teacher finds a boy talking to a girl,it will be made a huge issue and the boy and girl will be punished severely.They have to listen to all rubbish and advices of the teachers and parents.In some schools,even a watchman and peon,will start advising the students.Such activities will have an impact on both the boy and girl.

Not only in schools,even in some colleges,they follow this rule.This rule applies to anyone who enters the college campus.That is,not only to the students of the college,but also anyone else,a visitor,other college students etc.I have visited one such college during my college days.I went there to attend a campus interview. I was allowed to travel in their college bus.The bus was looking normal from outside.I was really confused after getting into the bus,because there was an iron rod placed in between the seats.I asked their college student the reason for keeping that rod there.It was kept there to separate the seats between girls and boys. Girls should occupy the seats in front of the rod and guys should occupy the seats behind the rod.So it was a boundary line.If a guy or girl crosses the boundary,they will be punished severely.They may even go to the extent of calling the parents and they will abuse the girl/boy or even parents in an ugly manner.Barbaric people.Then I thought,if scoundrels and rowdies run an educational institution,it will be like this only.But later on I realized that not only scoundrels,even the so called educated elite society behaves in a similar manner. Well,regarding that campus interview,I got rejected,that's a different story.

One cannot simply move on saying these are all common in schools/colleges.Education should help for the betterment for the society.These type of activities are indirectly responsible for gender related problems in society.Today the main problem faced by girl or woman or even a small kid is - sexual harassment.Nowadays we come across lot of disturbing news items,teacher harasses a second standard girl sexually,60 year old lady raped,harassment in work place..Bloody why all this happens?The male chauvinism has grown up to such an extent that people justify these acts saying "the girl's dressing was too bad.If ladies expose more,these things will happen".What if a girl exposes?Don't you have self-control? Ok, what did a sixty year old lady expose to get raped?What mistake did a 7 year old kid commit to get harassed? These are all excuses to justify one's mistake.Well this doesn't mean I suggest everyone to expose their body,but the point is don't give this as an excuse for your mistake.

The newspapers like Times of India and 24/7 television news channels like Headlines Today,Times Now etc seems to be more interested in increasing their circulation and TRP rating by sensationalizing rapes.An anchor comes in a neat coat-suit and one politician from 2 or 3 parties,one social activist and one human rights activist will participate in the debates.It will be painful to see the human rights activists defending criminals.But whats more painful is,not a single debate in these tv channels tried to make a proper analysis on why woman are harassed everywhere.

If a man respects a woman,he will not harass her.If a boy sees a girl as a fellow human being he will not torture her.Instead he sees her as an object who will give him some pleasure.This type of mentality makes men go to any extent in torturing ladies.When a teacher fails to realize that the girls to whom he is teaching  are also human beings and they deserve some respect,he abuses them sexually.This chauvinistic mentality varies from person to person depending on their lifestyle.

People stoop to the lowest level using the term 'friendship' to satisfy their physical needs.When a guy says a so-and-so girl is his friend,the immediate response from other guys,who are his 'good friends' will be 'introduce her to me'.'Give her number to us','I will add her in facebook'.Why should he introduce the girl to you?Or why should he allow you to send a friend request to her?And shamelessly they say 'I want to be her friend..whats wrong in this..I dont have any bad intention,why are you insulting me' - these kind of replies the guy will get.According to these guys,only an unknown,but fair girl will be their 'best friend'.If the same girl happens to be dark skinned but highly talented in drawing or singing or writing etc,how many guys will send a friend request to her?


Some guys even shamelessly will say that all they wanted is to correct that girl.When someone argues its a mistake,they give an immediate justification - 'Men will be men'.I don't really understand the meaning behind this phrase.So these guys mean to say that men will keep on enjoying with different girls and thats their nature?Or do they mean 'a man can see a woman only as a sex object?'. Even pigs and dogs do this.Whats the difference between them and these guys?They are animals, better than these guys,because they have only 5 senses.And these guys will speak about culture and tradition.

Guys first of all understand - it is very much possible for a boy and girl to be friends forever.Taking a girl in bike,talking for hours in phone,sharing some personal stuff all these things need not necessarily be love.In friendship boys and girls should be treated equally.Even after marriage and having kids,the boy and girl can still be friends.When guys start moving with good girls and respect their friendship,they will get a sense of maturity and they will not harm girls.I have seen guys saying lot of bad things about girls.They will say girls are cheats,girls never understand true love/affection etc.There may be girls like this,but generalizing is wrong. There are lot of good girls.If you say you haven't come across any,then the mistake is with you.If you approach everyone with some good intention,you will get to know good people.Ofcourse not everyone will be good,but most of them will be.Instead of saying 'she is bad,she cheated me,all girls will be like this only..I hate girls',think this way - 'ok there are lot of good girls,she is an exception...'.Instead of showing hatred towards women in general, because of the mistakes of one or two girls,ignore the wrong ones thinking about women with good character,who are more in number. Guy its enough if we respect our female friends as much as we respect our mom and siblings.


 The topic of consensual/premarital sex is different.I will write about it separately.

So the bottomline is, for a guy doing a white collar job and who has no respect for women - it ends up in a physical relationship with girl,for a half baked teacher,it ends up with sexual harassment,for scoundrels and morons,it ends up in brutal rapes.If this has to change,guys/men should start respecting girls/women.Parents should teach their son that girls are not toys to play with,they are human beings with feelings. Schools/colleges/teachers should teach their students to respect each other.Boys should respect the girls and vice-versa.The govts should conduct some camps to stress the importance of woman.

The recent judgement of awarding death sentence to criminals involved in the Delhi gang rape case is a welcome one.Nothing wrong in hanging those morons.Still intelligent people argue this punishment is too high and call it a human rights violation,but they conveniently forget the fact that the girl who died was also a human being.Making tough laws and awarding severe punishments may instill a sense of fear in some people and like this,the death penalty may reduce the rate of rapes to some extent.But what will actually bring down the no. of rapes is - prompt action by the police.Instead of insulting the girl who files a complaint by asking sarcastic questions,the police should register the complaint and act immediately to put the culprits behind the bars.The rapists should not be given the privilege of filing a mercy petition with President.

Change in people's mentality will only completely eradicate crimes against women.
 

Hindu Nationalist vs Secularism

Its time for some secularism here.I have written what kind of 'secularism' is being followed in India so many times on this blog.Not it all has started again.The saviors of minority communities are back.The patriots are back.The good old warriors like Mr.Mulayam Singh Yadav,Digvijay Singh etc and new entries like the Janata Dal(United)[JD(U) are back with a bang.Reuters interviewed Mr.Modi recently.Now the secular camp and intellectual media says 'Modi is in trouble with his controversial remarks'.They are even demanding an apology from Modi.So what did Modi say?

These are the so called 'objectionable' answers by Mr.Modi :
People want to know who is the real Modi – Hindu nationalist leader or pro-business chief minister?

I’m nationalist. I’m patriotic. Nothing is wrong. I’m a born Hindu. Nothing is wrong. So, I’m a Hindu nationalist so yes, you can say I’m a Hindu nationalist because I’m a born Hindu. I’m patriotic so nothing is wrong in it. As far as progressive, development-oriented, workaholic, whatever they say, this is what they are saying. So there’s no contradiction between the two. It’s one and the same image.

Do you regret what happened?
I’ll tell you. India’s Supreme Court is considered a good court today in the world. The Supreme Court created a special investigative team (SIT) and top-most, very bright officers who overlookoversee the SIT. That report came. In that report, I was given a thoroughly clean chit, a thoroughly clean chit. Another thing, any person if we are driving a car, we are a driver, and someone else is driving a car and we’re sitting behind, even then if a puppy comes under the wheel, will it be painful or not? Of course it is. If I’m a chief minister or not, I’m a human being. If something bad happens anywhere, it is natural to be sad.

The translation could have been bit better. Modi said :

'koyi bee vyakthi,driver aur koyee drive kar rahaa hain hum peeche baite hein..fir bee chota kuthe ka bachaa bee car ke neeche aah jaathaa hain tho humko painful hothaa ya nahin?'

You can watch this in the above video.When you translate this exactly we should put it as "even then even if a puppy comes under the wheel,will it be painful or not."

Well these are the two comments which has angered our secular camp.The first objection is to the use of the term 'Hindu Nationalist'.If the objection is for the use of the term 'Hindu Nationalist',it should be raised against the interviewer not against Modi.It is said that India is a Hindu majority country, but the situation is so bad that if someone says he is a Hindu or he follows Hinduism,he is branded communal in this nation.So what is the expectation of the secular camp?If the interviewer asks 'are you a Hindu Nationalist',Modi should say 'no I am only a nationalist'.Atleast this is what Arnab Goswami expects.


Let us assume that Modi said 'no I am only a nationalist not a Hindu nationalist'.Do you people think this media and secular camp will keep quiet?No,instead they will call this a publicity stunt and minority appeasement.Intellectuals like Teesta Setalvad and Mallika Sarabhai will politely say in the media that 'such statements will not erase what Modi did in 2002'.The Supreme Court appointed SIT itself has given a verdict that Modi had no role in the post Godhra riots,but still our media and secular camp is not ready to accept this,still they want to punish Modi.If they think they are better judges than those sitting in Supreme Court,then its upto them.


Intellectuals please understand this - you don't have any right to stop us from following Hinduism.The Indian constitution allows us to do so.

"Right to freedom of religion, including freedom of conscience and free profession, practice, and propagation of religion, freedom to manage religious affairs, freedom from certain taxes and freedom from religious instructions in certain educational institutes." - this is a fundamental right provided by Indian constitution.

Being a Hindu will not make one communal.Modi's statement will not disrupt the peace and harmony, but the activities of the secular camp for sure will.

Coming to the second answer,the puppy remark,I have already shared the exact question and Modi's answer for the same with video and translated it too.Likes of Arnab Goswami wants Modi to say sorry for what has happened in 2002.Are you guys mad?Why will someone accept the blame when they have not done anything wrong?There is a court,it has appointed a Special Investigation Team(SIT) to probe this matter,based on the requests of secular activists.The SIT was monitored by Supreme Court and it itself has given a clean chit to Modi.There is a CBI,which is trying its best to frame charges against Modi and still not able to provide any concrete satisfying evidence.When so many things are going on,on what basis you expect Modi to say sorry?


There is a problem with Indian media.They think they are Gods.They want everyone to behave the way they wants.Practically that is not possible.Regarding the puppy remark, Modi only says what has happened in 2002 was really sad.And his answer should be interpreted as 'what has happened in 2002 was painful.There were riots of a very large magnitude.58 Hindu kar sevaks were burnt alive ALLEGEDLY by some Muslims and following which there were religious clashes between Hindus and Muslims.It has been 11 years since then and there were no riots at all after 2002.People are living peacefully.Gujarat is growing.Its time to move on'.

I came across this interesting status update from a profile(his name is Mr.Seshadry Narayanan).

"Do you beat your kids?
Answer: I don't even beat my dog.
Media and Congress: You mean your kids are like dogs?"

The media and the secular camp is behaving exactly like this.Anyhow,Modi only said he was saddened by what has happened in 2002.Riots means we all think of 2002 only.Friends there was a state sponsored genocide which happened in 1984.The anti-Sikh riots,for which till now justice has not been delivered.Just because 2 Sikh terrorists assassinated Mrs.Indira Gandhi,around 3000 Sikhs were killed and around 50000 were left homeless.What the former Prime Minister Mr.Rajiv Gandhi had to say about this anti-Sikh riots?He said this : "When a big tree falls, the earth trembles!".Doesn't this statement justify the genocide?Doesn't this statement indicate it was a state-sponsored riots and it was to avenge the death of Mrs.Indira Gandhi?Still that 'secular' former Prime Minister's wife is controlling the Congress party and brainy people like Dig Vijaya Singh are still supporting this party. But when it comes to Modi,everyone will become 'secular' and will make a controversy out of nothing.

All these over-reactions for Modi's normal comment only shows how much the secular camp is scared of Modi's entry to national politics.I doubt even if the BJP has such high hopes on Modi,but the congress has.Good,atleast on seeing this the BJP should understand the fact that Modi is the most popular leader of BJP and should work accordingly.There are some people who will never get satisfied with whatever explanations we give.Even though there is a concrete evidence in front of them,they will reject it outright and still stand by what they say.I would like to remind the age old rabbit story.There was an intelligent man,may be as intelligent as Digvijay SIngh,caught a rabbit,which lost a leg.He argued that rabbits has only three legs.Inspite of showing so many rabbits with 4 legs,the fellow was adamant and he showed the rabbit which he caught and still argued that rabbits will only have 3 legs.Instead of wasting all your energy trying to convince this intelligent man,isn't it better to accept that rabbits will only have 3 legs and move on?
